September 5, 2017 Board Meeting Agenda Item #31 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #18-0129 FOR PETROLEUM PRODUCTS Description Bids to provide 'Petroleum Products' were received from six vendors on August 9, 2017. The bids of Best Line Oil Company, Inc., Fleet Acquisitions, LLC dba Fleet Products, and Palmdale Oil Company were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications. Reasons for not selecting the apparent low bid are included with the bid tabulation. This bid is for a period of one year with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The funds for these purchase are contained in the operating budget allocated to the Transportation Department. Recommendation That the bids of Best Line Oil Company, Inc., Fleet Acquisitions, LLC dba Fleet Products, and Palmdale Oil Company, to provide 'Petroleum Products' in an amount not to exceed $100,000.00, be approved as presented.
